I weigh 170 I have a goal to loose as much as I can maybe realisticly 10 lbs by my birthday in exactley one month. I have started walking at the local park 2 laps equal 1 mile. If I walk 6-8 laps for a total of 3-4 mile walks a day approximatley how much weight can I loose with just walking and a changed diet in the next month. From what I can tell… Eat less food, but more often to kick-start your metabolism. Drink a glass of cold water with breakfast. Eat good food, increase your workouts variably, and keep up the good work- you won't SEE immediate success, but you will feel it. . THEN see it.

Losing weight will not come from only walking. You need to eat a clean diet as often as you can. You should also be doing some type of resistance training. Your body will burn more fat calories if you have more lean muscle. I would also set your goal at 8lbs for one month. Usually, with a clean diet and good exercise, a person can lose up to 2 lbs a week.
8-10 lbs in a month should be a realistic goal. Most you need to do is eat healthier, don't over eat and keep at the walking. You may want to pick up the pace each day, or go for “x” amount of minutes instead of laps. If it takes you 45 minutes right now to do 6-8 laps, and you go faster, your time will decrease. . . So, do the minutes and go faster. . . You'll see the results of a more toned body and a few pounds lost in a few short weeks.
Most you have to do is stick with it!
